Join along with NCSML Curator Stefanie Kohn for a guided tour of the exhibit "Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau," which was presented at the NCSML from May 1 - September 4, 2024.
Presented are 75 works including rare original lithographs and proofs, paintings, drawings, posters, books, and portfolios from the Dhawan Collection, one of the finest private collections of Mucha’s works in the U.S. Mucha is most often remembered for the prominent role he played in shaping the aesthetics of French Art Nouveau at the turn of the 20th century.
Support of the original exhibit was provided by: Betterlife, CRST, Cedar Rapids Hotel Motel Tax, Iowa Tourism Office and Iowa Arts Council, both part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
