The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library welcomes Karol Samuelčík for a live concert to give a free performance for NCSML members and the general public. Karol is a classical guitarist and educator at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU), widely recognized for his international solo performances across Europe, Asia, and South America. He has performed in prestigious venues such as London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall (Purcell Room), the Shenzhen Concert Hall in China, and the Slovak Philharmonic Hall in Bratislava.
Samuelčík has appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras including the Slovak Philharmonic, Slovak State Philharmonic Košice, and the Hong Kong Metropolitan Pop Orchestra. His repertoire spans Latin American, Spanish, Slovak, and 19th-century works. In 2025, he is presenting a special program dedicated to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, performed on a custom 7-string guitar for a more authentic interpretation.
